I love making cold process soap. I started making soap about 4 years ago and ever since I've enjoyed the whole process. I love that with each new scent i get to add my own spin on what i think it should look like. For example i make a Honeysuckle with pictures of flowers on the top, Lavender is always paired with Oatmeal, Starry Night has a goats milk moon in the center, and my famous Man Soap is unique all in its own, poppy seeds on top with a gentle yellow bottom. Soap is functional art to me and thats always how I've looked at it.
Each bar gets wrapped with my famous barn logo because its just a reminder to what i said in the beginning keep your world small. Soap to me is an synonym to life, on one had if you separate its components it can be caustic or deadly even, but mixed with the good oils it forms a bond that turns into something beautiful that will always be apart of each other. So what I'm trying to say is parts of all of us can be bad, but pair it with the good in us and put your focus there and the end result will prevail.
